Modules & industries

Coro is one horizontal platform, but not every tenant needs every module turned on from day one.

Core vs. opt-in

Finance, Sales & Inventory, Purchasing, HR & Payroll, and Reporting are core — every tenant has them. Projects and Manufacturing are opt-in, toggled per tenant from Settings → General, because a retail business and a light manufacturer need genuinely different screens, not the same ones with unused fields hidden.

Industry templates set the starting point

  • Retail — inventory and POS-oriented chart of accounts, batch and reorder tracking on by default
  • Services — project billing and timesheets surfaced earlier in setup
  • Distribution — multi-warehouse stock and stock valuation front and center
  • Light manufacturing — bills of materials and work orders available from setup

A template only decides defaults. Every account, field, and module toggle can be changed afterward.

Turning a module off doesn’t delete its data. If you disable Projects after logging time against it, the records stay intact and reappear the moment you turn it back on.
